2012 Tiger Aquatics Zone Team Selections

Congratulations to the Tiger Aquatics 2012 Zone Team Selections

Abigail Cazes Girls 11-12 

Claire Charpentier Girls 13-14. 

These swimmers applied for and were selected for the Louisiana Age Group Zones Team following the LC State Championship Meet.  It is a big honor to be chosen and we are really proud of these girls!  The Zone team is selected for their performance in the long course season from the pool of applicants (selection criteria set by Louisiana Swimming) with an emphasis on relay priority events by stroke and also on USA Swimming power points.  It is what other sports call an All-Star Team where the Louisiana team will compete against several other states including Texas, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, West VA, and part of Florida. 

They will travel next week to the meet in Rockwall, Texas at the Rockwall Idependent School District Aquatic Center (picture above).  It is a really fun trip where swimmers travel as a group and get to meet swimmers from all over the region.
