Bengal Tiger Aquatics Club (BTAC)

Bengal Tiger Aquatics Club Inc. is an athletic booster club that enhances the experience of swimmers in Tiger Aquatics Swim Club (TAQ). BTAC general membership is made up of volunteer parents/ guardians of TAQ swimmers. If your child is a swimmer at Tiger Aquatics, you are a member of BTAC. BTAC officers are volunteers nominated by the general BTAC membership and are voted on annually. BTAC meets monthly and before each TAQ swim meet and runs concessions during the meet.

Other board members include: Louise Babin, Ashley Gautreau, April McKean, Owen Carmichael, Huy Ta, Michael Fazely, Allyson Newman, Bethany Madson, Danielle Dupas, and James Moroney.

We encourage all families to get involved with BTAC. The best way to start is by volunteering at meets while getting to know other Tiger Aquatics families. We are fortunate to swim at a facility that is capable of holding many events throughout the year. We need the help of all members for these events to be successful and run smoothly. The job of BTAC is to support the club in a variety of ways. We use concessions sales as our principal income. All proceeds from concessions subsidize the costs of many TAQ activities throughout the year. BTAC purchases awards for the team banquet, clothing/ caps for semiannual state meets, and funds an annual holiday party amongst other team building activities.

BTAC current responsibilities:

● Concessions at meets

● Sponsors Christmas Party and ornament

● Sponsors food for TAQ events such as Intrasquad meets

● Sponsors annual banquet, awards and senior gifts

● Organizes State breakfasts

● Purchases state meet t-shirts, caps, etc.

● Purchases equipment/ supplies needed by TAQ

● Supports the coaches and needs of the club
