2013 SOUTHERN ZONE SECTIONALS CHAMPIONSHIPS

Dear Tiger Aquatics Families,

This weekend several of our Elite swimmers will be heading to College Station, Tx to compete in the 2013 Speedo Championship Series Southern Zone Sectionals. This is a three and a half day prelim/final meet consisting of several teams from all over the southern zone region. The athletes had to qualify in order to compete. The competition starts on the evening of Thursday February 28th with our first athlete (Joy Jason) competing in the 1000 yard freestyle.

Below are the following athletes and their events:

  1. Mary Claire Beaver - 100 free, 200 fly, 100 fly, 50 free, 200 IM
  2. Clayton Black - 500 free, 100 free, 200 free, 100 fly, 50 free, 200 IM
  3. Nathan Borel - 200 back, 100 free, 200 free, 100 back, 50 free
  4. Brady Coleman - 200 breast, 100 breast
  5. Brady Grenfell - 100 free, 200 fly, 200 free, 100 fly, 50 free
  6. Joy Jason - 1000 free, 500 free, 200 breast, 400 IM, 100 breast, 1650 free
  7. Quintin Lewis - 200 breast, 100 breast
  8. Katelyn Rodriguez - 500 free, 100 free, 200 free, 100 back, 50 free
  9. Emily Rush - 200 back, 100 back, 100 breast
  10. Nir Barnea (LSU swimmer) 100 free, 100 fly, 50 free
