Breaking News in her 1st College Meet Tiger Aquatics Alum Caroline Forbes Breaks 2 School Records: The 400 yard medley relay team made up of 3 others and Caroline Forbes shattered a 22-year old record with a time of 4:07.21, finishing fourth. The Warriors broke the old mark of 4:14.81 set in 1991 by more than seven seconds. Revised report includes the addition of Zachary Babin who swam for Tiger Aquatics but, was listed in the US Swimming database as "unattached". Changes are only to the Boys 9-10 and 11-12. Tiger Aquatics competitve team will be taking a break starting July 30th through August 10th. The last day of practice is Friday July 27th. This includes Elite, Senior I, Senior II, Jr Tigers, Cubs, and Paws. This does NOT include Sectional swimmers, Masters, or Swim America. Masters and swim america will follow normal schedule. Tiger Aquatics Sectional Qualifiers will hit the road tomorrow with Head Coach Jeannine headed for the 2012 SCS Long Course Sectional Championship hosted by the Woodlands Swim Team. The meet will be held at the Conroe ISD Natatorium in Shenandoah, TX. At the recently contested Louisiana Long Course State Championship Meet held in New Orleans, LA the following swimmers broke the Boys 13-14 800 Free Long Course Relay Louisiana State Record. This record had had been standing since 1974.
